Spine Surgery

I have a friend who had a serious accident recently and I feel sorry for him. His wife called me yesterday and told me that her husband is going to have laser spine surgery next month. This procedure is costly for sure but her husband needs it so they have to do it in order to have a full recovery soon. Same thing with what happened to a close relative of mine. Many years ago he had a spine surgery because his spinal cord was broken after he had an accident. The doctors had to put some kind of a metal to support his back bone an can be removed after few years. I know for sure that the procedure is not easy for the patients but if you have a very good surgeon I think you won't be able to feel that much pain at all. I was on the third grade when I first heard the one of her song that hits all over the world. The title of the song is ''The greatest Love Of All'' I can still remember the first time I heard it was our neighbor who sang it so loud while walking by our house. You can hear her miles away! lol She sing it loudly and mind you she has a nice voice too! So any that was when I first hear that song and remembering Whitney Houston who passed away the other day, I will post a copy and a video of that song here so we can all sing along. Snows Are Gone

Last night was the first time I saw some snow. I've been waiting for it since Christmas but it never came only last night and I was hoping to see some more when I wake up this morning only to know that snows are all gone. It rained so maybe that's why its all vanished. Oh well I hope to see some more soon. If not, its okay too because it will be 78 degrees again on Wednesdays weeeeh crazy Texas weather is what that is but I love it.

Learning Italian Language

I always wanted to learn one or two more foreign languages. I think one of the coolest career to me is to become a language translator. I always find it a most decent and a very promising career. When I was in college I was offered to study Italian language however I declined it and studied business administration course instead. I just now realized that I could have been an Italian translator now if I accepted that offer. Well, I think it's never too late to start doing it now. I heard that there is an Italian translation company that offers very good Italian translation service. They said you can even finish a course online, I think its kind of interesting I should research more about it because I know I am ready to take up the course and be a good Italian translator someday.

My husband and I have talk about my plans of studying language translation and I am so glad he always does supports me whatever I want to do. He even said I should start inquiring of how much would be the cost for the enrollment so we can be prepared for all the requirements and everything.

So today I looked online and good thing I found an Italian translation agency that provides Italian translation services with very good professional translators with high standards. The reason why I choose Italian language is that, it is now one of the most spoken European languages. Who knows somebody, I will be one successful language translator.

Need Financing?

Very soon my husband and I will be starting a new business. For now, we still need to get a few things and I hope we can get all those this week. It is indeed costly when you start a business, we need to spend quite a bit of money to start. We even thought about merchant financing might help us to cover our business capital.

Last week my husband bought a machine that we need for our business and that machine alone costs us a lot of money. But we still gonna try it no matter what happens, we are so ready to do our business and I hope we will come up with good profit in few months. I hope and pray that everything will turn out good. And I hope we can keep our business alive forever and to that I am crossing my fingers.

I am getting so tired of my allergy because it attacks me every night. Its been few weeks that I've been waking up in the middle of the night sneezing. I hate it because I wake everybody up including my two year old son and its hard for him go back to sleep. I really need to take care of this allergy as soon as possible. I think I need to call austin allergist to schedule an appointment soon. I already tried many different over the counter allergy pills however none of them worked out for me. I don't mind paying professional fee as long as my allergy will be gone forever because I can't wake up another night and sacrifice my sleep again just for this nose allergy. If you know some good cure for this allergy, I would appreciate if you could give me tips and suggestions. Please leave a comment here.

TORONTO (Reuters) - Spanking children can cause long-term developmental damage and may even lower a child's IQ, according to a new Canadian analysis that seeks to shift the ethical debate over corporal punishment into the medical sphere.
The study, published this week in the Canadian Medical Association Journal, reached its conclusion after examining 20 years of published research on the issue. The authors say the medical finding have been largely overlooked and overshadowed by concerns that parents should have the right to determine how their children are disciplined.
While spanking is certainly not as widespread as it was 20 years ago, many still cling to the practice and see prohibiting spanking as limiting the rights of parents.
That point of view highlights the difficulty in changing hearts and minds on the issue, despite a mountain of accumulated evidence showing the damage physical punishment can have on a child, says Joan Durant, a professor at University of Manitoba and one of the authors of the study.
"We're really past the point of calling this a controversy. That's a word that's used and I don't know why, because in the research there really is no controversy," she said in an interview.
"If we had this level of consistency in findings in any other area of health, we would be acting on it. We'd be pulling out all the stops to work on the issue."
Durant and co-author Ron Ensom, with the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario in Ottawa, cite research showing that physical punishment makes children more aggressive and antisocial, and can cause cognitive impairment and developmental difficulties.
Recent studies suggest it may reduce the brain's grey matter in areas relevant to intelligence testing.
"What people have realized is that physical punishment doesn't only predict aggression consistently, it also predicts internalizing kinds of difficulties, like depression and substance use," said Durant.
"There are no studies that show any long term positive outcomes from physical punishment."
While banned in 32 countries, corporal punishment of children retains at least partial social acceptance in much of the world. Debates on the issue typically revolve around the ethics of using violence to enforce discipline.
With the study, Durant hopes parents will start to look at the issue from a medical perspective.
"What we're hoping is that physicians will take that message and do more to counsel parents around this and to help them understand that physical punishment isn't getting them where they want to go," she said.
She also hopes that countries that allow the practice - including Canada - will take another look at their child protection laws.
Canada is one of more than 190 countries to have ratified the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, a 1989 treaty that sets out protections for children.
The treaty - which has been ratified by all UN member states except for the United States, Somalia and South Sudan - includes a passage stating that countries must protect children from "all forms of physical or mental violence".
"If we had two or three studies that showed that if you took 500 mg of vitamin C a day you could reduce cancer risk, we would all be taking 500 mg of vitamin C a day," Durant said.
"Here, we have more than 80 studies, I would say more than 100, that show the same thing (about corporal punishment), and yet we keep calling it controversial."

Discovering Abaco Island

Very soon it will be spring time and I would love to have a little family trip as soon as possible. Right now we are still busy with my husband's project. He is getting ready to start our new business which is to build trailers. He is so ready to retire from his job right and do something else. So for now we are looking for a place to spend time together for a week vacation.

We are also looking for a place that we can possibly live when we retire. My husband and I thought about buying a beach front property someday. We love to have a house near the beach. A friend told me about Abaco Island. She said it is really a beautiful place to retire. So we got curious about the place and so I think we should Bahamas as our destination for our upcoming vacation. I believe that one of the best way to decide whether you want to buy a property in the Abacos is to get a vacation rental and experience it first to get familiar with the place and to see if we can find a perfect property that we like.

My friend also thought of owning a property there. She said they are fixing to buy one that is located by the beach. She said the property price is not that bad. Everyone dreams of owning property in the Bahamas but with the lower prices, it could now become a reality because according to my friend they were comparing the prices from other beach front properties this place is still got cheaper price. I think we are going to check on it while we are there on our vacation. I am getting so excited.

We are now ready to change or get another family insurance. My husband and I realized that the most important thing to have in order to live the American dream. As what most people say that most important thing that parents can do is to secure their children's future. I agree with this thought, I think I would feel better knowing that my children will be taken cared for no matter what happens.

So today we are looking for the best rates life insurance which is reasonable for us to pay. Looking for a good insurance is is not easy, especially if there are a lot of choices. It makes me confuse on which one to get. We may need to call for inquiries later. However for now I think we can just request for insurance quotes online that way we can compare the rates.

78 Degrees on January

Yesterday was the last day of the month of January and it was indeed amazing day. Imaging our temperature here in North Texas was 78 degrees. Its amazing, feels like summer, no need for coats while other states are freezing cold. My son and I went to the park played ball, went for a walk then played at our backyard till the sun went down! Then we went to TGI Fridays to have dinner! Wow that was one big day for us. Thanks to Texas weather!lol

Interested In Guitar Lessons

Recently, I been listening to some guitar songs here at home. Music has been my comforter when I feel bored or during dull moments. I love staying at home with my kid however there are times when I feel like doing something else. I thought of learning acoustic guitar lessons might be good thing to do. I love guitar music, I use to have a guitar back home and I just miss playing with it again. So I think I'm gonna get me a new guitar soon then maybe learn my acoustic guitar lessons soon. Last night I stayed up late because of two things. First I learned that one company has one night online sale started from nine o'clock last night. So I did a little shopping worth a hundred bucks. They were on sale for spring clothing. and some winter close out sales. So I immediately shop though some would not be for me because they are not my sizes but you know why? Because I this? Very soon I am going to try a retail business of my own. I just found a website that sells bulk orders on everything for less. I saw some designers bags for only a hundred buck and there 50 of them so I think I could really make good money buy doing retail online. I wish it will work for me as an extra source of income. Floor Cleaning Today

Today, my son and I will do some floor cleaning. I just noticed a few marks on the floor after we had a party here few days ago. I think I need to order more floor care products because we are almost out of them. Hardwood floors are really easy to clean compared to carpeted floors because the stains won't stay on it and all I need to do is polish it using floor cleaning machines.

I have regular floor cleaning machines given to me by my friend who owns a business. I think they are not functioning well anymore now. So I think its time to upgrade, I need to get a new floor cleaning machine. I also need to get some more floor care solution very soon. I might just go ahead and order all of my floor care products online to save me money and time. I know a website that has everything I need for my floor cleaning so I think that's what I'm going to do first. I can't wait to have nice and shiny floor again.

This will be my first time to file an IRS report for my income tax from my online job. I couldn't believe I earned that certain amount of money til I saw it on the email from somebody doing the 1099 form. Oh well it is mandatory to do so I have to file it soon. I am willing to pay whatever it will cost me though because its just the way it is here in US.

Anyway, I did some research online on how to file it and heres what they say:
Internal Revenue Service Form 1099-MISC shows money paid to you during the course of the year but not by an employer who was withholding tax on your behalf. According to IRS.gov, the 1099-MISC form also includes the total amount of royalties and rents that you received during the year. If you received income that exceeds $600 in a calendar year, you are required to file the 1099-MISC forms with your personal federal tax return.

Review each 1099-MISC form that you received. Make sure that the reported funds are accurate. Double-check each 1099-MISC that you received from each company for errors. Report any errors to the company that issued the 1099-MISC.

Prepare a Schedule C if you received 1099-MISC forms from multiple companies that you consistently work for. Use the income that is listed on line 7 on your 1099-MISC forms for the Schedule C. List the 1099-MISC income on line 1 of Schedule C. According to IRS.gov, expenses associated with generating this income--such as advertising, office supplies, auto expenses and insurance--are included in Part II of Schedule C.

I Love Concerts

Many years ago when I was still single I use to go to concerts with my friends. I have a friend in high school who does the installation of all the speaker system like speaker wall brackets. I just love to hear the music from the speakers its not the kind of speakers that will make you deaf when it plays music. So anyway, I use to go to concerts with these friends because I am free of charge when they are there. I went on one of the concert of the famous local singer artist named Lea Salonga and it was amazing. The music that I heard on that night still lingers in my mind I love music and I wish I can still do it again. Right now all I can do is to listen to my favorite songs that I have on my play list. I love to hear the sound of my surround speakers its making me feel good and relax.

I can’t wait until the new season of “Dancing with the Stars” comes on this year. I used to watch it last season on directv iowa. It was the first time that I had watched the show. I started watching because I wanted to see Rob Kardashian compete. I knew that his sister, Kim had a poor showing when she was on the show for only two episodes. I like to watch and follow the Kardashians on celebrity rag sites. I was actually surprised that Rob survived on the show as long as he did. He is not really very agile and on the first show of the season, he certainly didn’t look like a Fred Astair. Turns out that he lasted until the very end. The other guy, a former Iraq solider, who won was really a great dancer. Rob came in second, but he was actually pretty good. I know that everyone did a lot of campaigning for Rob, but I think that he got to where he was on his won merit. He worked hard and actually lost a lot of weight for the show!

My husband and I were talking about applying for a home loan this year. We don't really need it for buying another property but we are planning to use the money for something else. We might purchase a car or maybe use it for our home renovation. We still have to discuss more about it thought but for now we have to work on our credit first. I know there are few things that we need to settle first to get a high credit score in order for us to get an approval for home loan.

Right now I have some credit card bills that I need to settle. I think its one reason why people don't qualify for a loan because of too much credit card debts. In our case we only have minimal amount of debts because we know how to control our spending budget. We are trying so hard to maintain our good credit score that way we won't have any trouble apply for a mortgage loan.

Last year my husband gave me new camera for my birthday. Since then I am getting into photography and I am now looking to get the best equipment. I need a good camera tripod so I can get the best shots of the photos that I want to take. I know I have the passion in photography and so I thought of giving myself a chance to develop this hobby that I have. I need to get a new camera tripod as soon as possible and maybe I might also get new digital cameras for me to use.

I love photography, as a matter of fact I have done too many picture editing in the past. My husband showed me how to do some camera tricks and picture editing, he is good at it I should say and that was when I learned to love photography. I use to take pictures without using tripod but I couldn't get good shots. A good camera tripod is what I really need. The three-legged invention keeps the camera steady and guarantees a level shot, ensuring that photos are crisp and clear, especially under low light conditions. I believe that many amateur photographers dismiss the tripod because their digital cameras are extremely compact. I know that it can improve shots regardless of the camera's size or the photographer's skill level.

I am now getting confused of which kind of tripod I should get, the heavy ones of the lightweight kind. Some say the heavier your tripod the better photos because the tripod's main function is to anchor the camera. Heavy tripod offers more stability than a lighter model. This is especially true if you are shooting in windy or bumpy conditions. A heavy tripod protects a camera from vibration and other factors that can cause it to shake while you are framing your shot. So I think I would go for a heavy one.

Too Much Noise

Right now is about 4pm in the afternoon and my baby had his late afternoon nap about thirty minutes ago. When we were laying down in bed awhile ago our neighbor next door starts to mow their yard and let their dogs out. So I won't be surprise if my kid will wake up soon because right there too much noise next door oh well!lol

Last Christmas I spent quite a bit of money on our Christmas shopping. I can't pass great deals especially if it means saving tons of money. I am a bargain shopper I always look for deals when shopping both online and at stores. I even tried using coupons before however for some reason I had to stop using them because my husband doesn't like the idea of gathering a bunch of stuff that we don't normally use at home.

Last weekend a friend of mine took me out to dine at Indian Restaurant Los Angeles. Indian Food is one of my cravings these days I love Indian food especially the taste of curry sauce I love to put it on top of my rice. So my friend and I went to our newly found Indian restaurant and we love it. The food was amazing we really had fun that night and for sure we will recommend this place to all our friends and family for them to try it.

I think I hadn't had enough of Indian cuisine so today I was browsing online to try make an Indian dish of my own. I am going to make Indian curry chicken today. I think I may have to go to the grocery store to get all the ingredients and I hope it will turn out good. I am going to invite some friends some of them are from India I hope they will like the food that I'm going to make for them.

My husband suggested that it maybe better if we will just take them out to eat at our favorite Indian restaurant near here, I think it would be better also. However I think they would appreciate it better if we will just have it here because home cooking is always better. So far I only found two Indian recipes online that I like to make. Its a brand new year and my family and I are looking forward for a better year. Last year has been so tough for us. My husband is now ready to leave his job and retire. I wonder if he would consider relocating to Australia. I have many friends that lives there and they all said that they love living in that country. One friend told me that we should consider relocating in Australia because it is nice and peaceful country. She gave me a website that shows house and land packages melbourne. Few weeks ago my husband and I were talking about some business ideas that we have in our minds. We thought of finding another source of income starting this year. Part of his purpose is to be able to retire soon since their company is no longer in good shape. One of my goal for this year is to be able to get a driver's licence. I've been talking about it for a long time but for some reason I don't have enough motivation to get it. I need it in order to be independent again. And secondly, I want to land a good job to have a stable source of income. I am not saying that I am tired being a stay at home mom however for a change I need to start doing it this year. I just thought that this may change my level of happiness that way I feel more productive.

Yesterday we had baked popcorn shrimp and and fish fillet for dinner. Food like this I gotta have my vinegar and soy dip and of course eat them with rice lol. My son had the same thing too however when he saw the bottle of vinegar on the table he ask me if it was water since it is so clear like water. I told him it was vinegar on the bottle but he insisted that it was water. So what I did was put some on the spoon and let him taste it that way he will be able to distinguish the taste of it and so you what he did? He immediately spit all of it and said mama No! that's just for bugs! haha I don't know what made him think that its just pesticide! lol

My husband bought a big can of popcorn the other day and now my son is watching his show on TV with a bowl of popcorn oh his hands. I think he is having a good time all by himself at the living room. He is watching the show that comes on channel thirteen titled "Wild Kratts".

I think this show is educational, it talks about different kinds of wild animals, it sure is very entertaining to my two year old. Right now it seems like nothing can distract him from watching this show.

Giving Our Kitchen A Fresh Look

One of our plan for next year is changing the look of our kitchen. Right now its okay however it looks dull and the colors on the wall is beginning to fade. So I think it would be better if we will do a little enhancement just in case we will have extra funds this coming year. I think it would be better if we will put glass tiles on our kitchen walls, that way we won't have to worry about the fading colors because it stays forever.

I am now looking online trying to canvass prices of glass mosaic tile to see if we can afford it. I really love the designs and color of the model kitchen designs with mosaic tiles on it. It is very nice to look and and it don't hurt your eyes because there's no anything bright colors on it. I love the look of it for sure our kitchen will have a very fresh looking designs after we change it. I need to discuss everything with my husband first before we start doing our plan.

When we bought our new house it felt like everything was so disorganized. We were happy to have more space and be in our new area, but there is just so much to do in a new home. The first thing we had to do was set up utilities which was more of a challenge than I thought it would be. Electricity and phone were simple enough, but finding Bonners Ferry high speed internet wasn’t a picnic. When we finally got that figured out we moved on to furniture and decorating. I really wanted our new home to be special, so I was willing to spend more time and money on decorating than I had in previous homes. My husband and I bought this particular home because we could see growing old together in it, and we wanted it to look as fabulous as we felt about it. It was a good thing that I wasn’t working because decorating became my full time job. I didn’t think it would be so difficult and time consuming but I became totally enthralled in it. I’m glad it all paid off in the end. We love our new homeand never plan on leaving it.

This afternoon I had a severe headache so when my husband arrived home I immediately drink two Tylenol capsuls because I thought I really need sleep. I didn't had enough sleep recently because my baby was so cranky, he is teething again there are four molar teeth coming and that's the reason why he couldn't sleep good at night and so do I. I was so tired and when I finally got to sleep this afternoon I was dreaming that I was in vacation at a real nice resort I didn't know I slept for five hours when I woke up all I had to do is eat my dinner because everything was prepared. A friend of mine called me yesterday to ask me if I know a place where she can find Portable Photo Booth For Sale. I told her I have no idea where to get it but I can help her find one. I know somebody who rented it before and made good money out of it. This machine produces very nice prints of portrait and really good to use it on events like festivals.

If I'm not mistaken I have taken a photo at a portable photo booth before. It was indeed quicker than the picture studios. It was during my medical exam at St. Luke's hospital when I didn't know that I need to submit four pieces of two by two ID pictures. My husband loves riding his bicycle at the park trails. He use to ride his bike regularly every weekends. Recently I noticed that he don't have the motivation to ride his bike anymore. Flowers For Her

Last night I was talking to my mother on the phone to say my Christmas greetings to her and the rest of my family back home. I admit I miss my mom and as much as I wanted to be with them this Christmas but I just can't. I know that she is sad too therefore I order flowers online for her.

Few months ago we were thinking of going somewhere for a little holiday vacation however we just got into a very tight budget and so we decided not to go anymore this year. Instead we change our plan and that is going to do summer camping at Adirondack Camps next summer. I am sure that the kids would love it there because I heard so many good stories from people who went there last year. I remember when I was little we always do camping each summer and it brings back such great memories to me until now.

I believe that my family needs a little break and spend time together at least once a year. We failed to do some outing last year because of some financial issues but I will make sure next year we will be able to do something. It may be a little costly but with good financial planning I know that we can make everything ready ahead of time.

Today I was looking at Camping Information online to get some ideas of what are the things that we need to do. I still got ample time to prepare everything, I just don't want to rush things for now. I will talk to my husband about this first so we can agree on everything first before I will do the booking. Summer camps is something that all kids will look forward to. Term life insurance is a must have for every family here in US. I said this because in some other countries especially in Asia, most people live without life insurance. Whereas here, we need to have life insurance in order to live the American dream. I think it is the most important gift of all especially if you have somebody who's depending on you.

I am thinking of getting a term life insurance though as of this time I am fully covered by my husband's insurance policy. I am staying at home with my child but I think I can keep the payment since I am also earning a little income from my online job. I think it would be enough to cover my monthly payment. This is my first purchase from one our clients back in my call center days. This is the Trace N' Draw projector from the company "Toys To Grow On'' to be given to one of the kids around here. I use to process orders from this company before and recently I thought of browsing their site to see if I can find something that we can give to the little Miss lol. My friend has been a service to her old parents for a long time. She said she don't mind staying with her parents as long as they are around, which is good because I think its a lot better being taken cared of a family member. Today we woke up late because we stayed up late late last night. It was really nice weather we had her in TX yesterday and thought of taking advantage of it because we know that the temperature will soon change and we don't want to lose that great opportunity to be outside. So we had a little picnic at the backyard last night. We build a fire and had our dinner outside. We let our little boy play for a long time.

So anyway, we got up late today and had some light breakfast. Then we went to olive garden for a big lunch. Now its 5pm and the boys are sleeping while I'm blogging. My husband was the first one who told to get familiar with copywriters job opportunities. Its been almost four years now since I started blogging and I think its time for me to do something else for a change. A company like Better Business Bureau, where writers and artists meet. Everyday my son does some things that I find cute. Just like every time he sings his alphabet song he really cracks me up listening to him while he is singing. There are some letters that he could not pronounce real good and when he will say them it makes me laugh. It is just too cute to look at him and listen to him while he is singing the alphabet song. I have set a daily schedule for my two year old boy. I think it really works for us because lately I noticed that my son get use to it. There is time to watch tv and time play toys and time to eat then time for nap. Today my husband and I were talking about the options that we can do when he decide to leave his job. I have been applying for a part time jobs both online and offline lately. I already have an on going interview from one of the home base company that offers data entry job.
